WHAT IS A WARRIOR DASH?
The Warrior Dash is a mud-crawling, fire-leaping, extreme 3.25 mile run. Warriors conquer 13 extreme obstacles and celebrate with music, beer, and warrior helmets.
HOW TO TRAIN
Begin your training six to seven weeks before the race. You should perform three of the listed strength exercises, two to three days a week. Make sure you cycle the exercises in order to achieve a full body workout. Read below for helpful gym and cardio timelines:
Week 1-2: Pick your preferred three exercises and then perform each exercise for one minute, with a minute rest between exercises. Try to do as many reps as you can in that minute. *
Week 3-4: Exercise for two minutes with one minute rest between exercises. Do as many reps as you can in the two minutes.
Week 5-7: Exercise for two minutes with 30 seconds rest between exercises. Do as many reps as you can in the two minutes. Take two to three days off prior to Warrior Dash to ensure that your body is fully prepared for the Battleground.
WHAT TO BRING
· Your photo ID
· $10 cash for parking
· Appropriate footwear is highly recommended! Note: You will get muddy
· Spending money for extra beer, turkey legs, entertainment or sweet Warrior gear
· A signed copy of our participant waiver.
OBSTACLES· Completion of all Warrior Dash obstacles may be hazardous. It is the responsibility of the participant to leave the course if they are unable to complete an obstacle.
· Course officials are stationed at every obstacle for participant safety.
· It is the responsibility of the participant to notify course officials if the participant feels their safety is in danger or they are injured.
Any participant who receives assistance from any spectator or non-competitor on any obstacle shall be ineligible to receive an award.
